Gluten-Free Alfajores in Byron Bay | No Prato
What started as a fun side project quickly became one of the most requested treats at No Prato. Inspired by the traditional Argentine alfajor — a nostalgic favourite for many people in Byron Bay and the Northern Rivers — these gluten-free alfajores became popular through word of mouth and local support.
Each alfajor is made with two soft gluten-free biscuits filled with dulce de leche, coated in dark chocolate and finished with a touch of gold dust. Simple, rich and easy to enjoy as an individual dessert or small treat.
Today, No Prato alfajores are available through selected local venues, including The Roadhouse in Byron Bay, as well as directly through custom orders. They are sold with a minimum order of two and are usually available for last-minute orders unless larger quantities are required.
