meet Bruna
I grew up watching my grandmother bake and sell cakes, never imagining it would one day become part of my journey.
Originally graduating as a graphic designer, baking started as a hobby and slowly became a true passion. This led me to study culinary and work as a pastry chef in some of Sydney’s fine dining restaurants, while creating cakes for friends and small celebrations on the side.
After relocating to Byron Bay and continuing my experience in two-hatted restaurants, I felt inspired to create something more personal. That’s when No Prato was born.
My background in design continues to shape the creative direction of the brand, where each cake is thoughtfully made with a refined, minimal aesthetic and a strong focus on flavour, texture and balance.
Working with quality ingredients and local suppliers allows me to create a more personal connection with both the community and my clients. At No Prato, every cake is made to order and tailored to each client.
I love creating bespoke cakes for intimate gatherings, weddings and special events, including gluten-free and non-dairy options. My goal is to create cakes that are as memorable in flavour as they are in appearance.
